AlambiLAB architects are committed to high quality design that respects the environment. Our aim is to improve people's lifestyle with good design. We adapt our architecture to reflect the needs of our clients and create spaces that are in harmony with their surroundings.

AlambiLAB is run by Jaume Miralles and Laia Mulet. We are a young, enthusiastic team with a broad range of experience in the UK and Spain.

 Jaume Miralles Rosselló                                                          

Jaume Miralles is currently Director of AlmbiLAB architects ES, based in Marina Alta, Spain.

He graduated in Architecture and Quantity Surveying from ETSABUPC 
(Technical University of Catalonia) and EPSA, University of Alicante (2000) respectively.

In 2000 studied at the Università degli Studi di Palermo (Sicily) under the Erasmus Program.

Having become a qualified Quantity Surveyor Jaume worked as site manager on many projects before studying architecture. Alongside his architecture studies he gained experience in structural engineering whilst working with several architects.

In 2003 he collaborated with universities on a large international residential project in Barcelona consisting of 400,000 dwellings. 

In 2006 he won a design competition for minimal housing in Guatemala. At this time he began working with Salvador Matas Arquitectes in Barcelona, a collaboration which has lasted more than 6 years. His primary role has been the responsibility for the design and on-site management of large public facility projects.

Following his graduation in Architecture the University presented him with a distinguished accolade for his final project.

Since then he has become an experienced residential Architect in the region of Marina Alta, Spain, having designed and built several novel houses.

 Laia Mulet Gayà                                                                      

Laia Mulet is currently Director of AlambiLAB architects UK, based in Oxfordshire.

She is an ARB registered Architect and 2008 graduate from ETSAV,UPC (Technical University of Catalonia).

In 2005-2006 studied at the TUDelft (Technical University of Delft, Netherlands)under the Erasmus Program and worked as an intern at Hans Moor Architects in Rotterdam.

In 2006 was awarded with the Arquia Scholarship from Fundación Caja de Arquitectos due to outstanding academic achievements. During 2006-2007 Laia worked as a scholar in the Graphic Expression Department of ETSAV.

In September 2007 Laia started working for the well-known architect Norman Foster. She worked in the Headquarters of Foster + Partners in London. During the 5 years she worded there, she had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of international projects such as: City of Justice in Madrid, the sustainable city of Masdar in Abu Dhabi, the Saqqara towers in Monterrey, the Proscenio project in Bogotá, the Shaw communications campus in Calgary and the extension of the Congress Centre in Valencia among others.

In 2011 Laia was part of an award winning team in Europan 11, a prestigious international competition.

In August 2012 Laia became Project Architect at OB Architecture, working on residential projects in the New Forest National Park.

In December 2012 Laia returned to Valencia to be part of the Yuzz program for young entrepreneurs whilst building AlambiLAB architects with Jaume Miralles.
